We are working with international and regional organisations, Multilateral Organisations, governments, private sector organizations & Associations to promote trade facilitation while unlocking complex challenges in logistics and transport sector on the continent. We help our partners to implement programmes or undertake projects as well as assignments in thematic areas.

We have positioned ourselves in the forefront of implementing the ACFTA. The following are our thematic areas of focus :

  • Creation and sustainably support Corridors Management Authorities to manage smooth movement of goods along the corridors (from ports to the destinations);
  • Monitoring of African Ports and Corridors’ performance and reward them;
  • Promote trade facilitation (intra-African Trade as well as trade between Africa and the rest of the world);
  • Promoting efficiency in transport and logistics (Ports, roads, railways, air transport) to link all regions of the continent with reliable infrastructures to promote trade;
  • Identify and conduct pre-and feasibility studies for possible funding;
  • Promote Regional integration through conducting studies and implementation of trans-national projects;
  • Stimulate best practices among African Ports, Transport Corridors as well as any other institutions involved in the transport and logistics, Regional Integration and Trade Facilitation sectors;
  • Promote Communication and Advocacy of best practices from researches;
  • Provide capacity building and information dissemination to public and private organization on the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA);
  • Provide sustainable solutions through researches and development, including the use of energy efficient transport systems, environmentally friendly Ports and disseminate to the stakeholders
  • Monitor African Ports and Corridors’ performance and reward best performing ports and corridors through acknowledgment of best performance and show-casing their work on media outlets, inviting high-level business partners and award ceremonies by trophy recognition, and among other accolades of acknowledgement.
  • Implement early-warning monitoring and evaluation mechanisms that provide timely knowledge of problem areas that fore-warn trade officials at corridors and governments of potential barriers to trade, while providing mitigating risks, with the view to circumvent and deal effectively with potential issues of barriers to trade.
